Among the hills, when you sit in the cool
shade of the white poplars, sharing the peace and
serenity of distant fields and meadows … then let
your heart say in silence, “God rests in reason.”
And when the storm comes, and the mighty wind
shakes the forest, and thunder and lightning
proclaim the majesty of the sky … then let your heart
say in awe, “God moves in passion.”
And since you are a breath in God’s sphere, and a
leaf in God’s forest, you too should rest in reason
and move in passion.

Wow. How wonderful to see you surface Jana. Your painting is beautiful and ethereal as ever. And a lovely choice of words.

Wow is right! I feel like I’ve just run into an old friend in the pub on one of my infrequent visits “home”. It’s so spacious, quiet and lovely here, I think I’ll hang around. You can count on a visit soon.

Wow is right…! It is good to hear from you Chris. A lot has changed since my last visit “home” though. I just replied and it disappeared? I look forward to catching up with you at the beaver ponds.

Totally agree with your pub remark. It was so good, so cool to see your presence. I certainly come and go on WP, and have found myself with the same disappearing comments thing. No idea how it gets resolved… but it seems to somehow. I saw your initial reply but then it disappeared. Regardless… I hope you’re doing incredibly well in these tumultuous times. ❤️

Makes me wonder how long I’ll be named “anonymous” LOL

A great poem to match your beautiful painting. Good to see you. I’ve been absent for a long time but hope to get back with something to offer soon.

I think this must be you, Teri? Good to hear from you! Yes, it has been so long, that WordPress names us “anonymous” now. LOL…Hope all is well with you. I’m not here often either, as I spend my online time on Instagram with my visual work. That may change though… I miss the building of community here.
By the way…I had to turn off the advanced tracking protection on my browser’s address bar to allow WordPress to recognize me when I change sites within WordPress.
I ended up switching browsers, from Firefox to Safari. That fixed it.
